Alright everyone...I need a little help....this is probably gonna sound stupid or be an easy question to answer...But anyways

I have the windows 7 64-bit and, the nvidia drivers for my video card will not let me set the screen resolution above 1600x1200. I tried the add resolution button already. I press apply and it stays at 1600x1200...My monitor can support 2048x1536 and i prefer that resolution....The video card driving it is a GTS-250....The 1gb core, I see no reason for it to tell me that it won't support that resolution.

Any insight would be most helpful

    Thx
    Derek

EDIT=Windows 7 reads this monitor as a Generic PNP monitor...Any way i can make it think its a Superscan Mc 801? like a driver or something?
