    you guys have a 6 hour lag compared to me and about a 5 hour lag compared to goldy, and that's when you're on the NY-side of your country :)

    Near as I can tell, if you go to your User CP, it lists which of your friends are online or not, without having to look through the entire list. Also, in PM, there's an option for sending a message to those on your buddy list, so you don't have to go through their profile to send them one.

    Never really seemed worthwhile to me, but to each their own. :)

    You can use the Buddy list to see which ones are online using, from any forum page, the Quick Links/Open Buddy List link.
