How do i host an fttp server?

What programs to use to so i can host an fttp server but it needs to be FREE
i have windows xp

please do not tell not to host an fttpserver

Umm, ok....
Well, personally I use FileZilla FTP server. It runs as a service and is pretty easy to set up and is efficient.

(ill presume you meant ftp not fttp... because fttp doesnt mean anything releated to a server)

What connection do you have? if you are behind a router then you'll need to forward port 21-23 to the machine hosting the server.

 

You can install an FTP server on the computer that you designated as a server.

Ftp server allows outside users to download and or Upload file to the server. It can be secure or unsecured with or without passwords.

There are many FTP servers available some are even free.

Once you have a functional server you can put it on the Internet (within the guide line of your ISP TOS).
