Hoe do you save a map quest map as image

After creating a map in map quest, google, etc how can the map image be saved as a file on my computer? The map can be printed but I cannot find a way to save the image as a file on my computer. I would like to keep the map image so I can attach it to emails with directions.

Back when mapquest maps were far less interactive, they were .gif files you could right-click on and save. If you notice now, there is a link called "Link To This Map" which takes you to a page that offers options suitable for webpage inclusion or emailing. Think how much more your friends on dial-up would appreciate a link rather than an attached image that clogs up their email retrieval.

If you really, really want a saved image, you could consider a graphics program that has a capture function.

 

Or.

Shift + PrintScreen (button) to capture the screen. CTRL + V into your favorite graphics program, like mspaint!

 

You could try Gadwin Printscreen - nice capture and save as.
