Hoem shop hijacker

A friend is infected with the home search assistant hijacker, and even spybot/anti-vir can't permanently get rid of it, as it re-occurs after a few days (which makes me think that he is re-infecting himself from the same site).
I found a program here to remove it, but it seems to have been disappeared!
Here's what I sent:

The page isn't there anymore, I get a page not found error.

I tried looing for it, and doing a search, but it seem sto be gone.

I note that there is a new app listed in the opening page here, hsremove.
Is this 'necessary and sufficient' to remove the Home search hijacker, as I've not seen the more generic hijacker mentioned in the link.
