Yes, not super easy to do and requires a 24\7 computer and a lot more bandwidth then most people have. Many cable connections have limited upload speeds. Frankly, cheap hosts can be had for as little as 9.95 a month without all the hassles, so I would go that route. If theres anything more specific, ask away and myself or one of the geeks will assist.

Well if your going to host files you flat out dont have the bandwidth, a T-1 is low bandwidth for file hosting. Just hosting a page youll be fine, if this is just a page for the game server stats or whatever, your hardly gonna get hits so its wont matter. First thing is what O/S is it? If your running windows your gonna have to get the CD and install Internet Information Services, Google how to setup a website with it. Next if your behind a router or NAT your going to need to forward Port 80 to your local computers IP address, which needs to be static(ill assume it is since your hosting a game server). Assuming your ISP doesnt have port 80 Incoming requests blocked, you will now be able to get to the web page you set up using http://myipaddress if iis is set up correctly (this is from the outside world, from your own computer youll need your local ip or 127.0.0.1)

and if you want a domain like www.majorgeeks.com youll need to register a name and point it to your IP.
