I have 3 computers set up on my network. The host is running XP, the other desktop is Ethernet and running Vista and the laptop is wireless running XP. The router is wireless Linksys WRT54G. Internet connection works on all three computers. All three icons appear in my network connections but are not accessible. The problem that I receive in “the network path is not accessible" I'm also running McAfee, The firewalls are turned off. McAfee is able to find all the computers on the network
Ping is not able to find the IP addresses. Can someone please help?

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.
