Home page probs.....

    Something or some one has ben changing my home page to this .. http://hot-searches.com/index.php?v=6&aff=4589532.... It does it randomly and i dont click any thing that whould chang it. Ad-aware and norton find nothing.. Thanx for any help.........

    did you scan with both adaware and spybot?

    I would run Hijack This and look for the entries to remove. Let us know if we can help you figure out what to remove, or try this tutorial:

    FYI, odds are someone went looking for porn on that pc, thats how it got there, SpywareBlaster *should* stop it next time.

    I DLed spy bot it found 5 things ad-aware dident :eek: .. I dedent relize thare was a big dif. betwean ad-aware and spy bot :confused: .............

    they find different things...

    watch out with adaware, it's been known to delete a few harmless folders

    If they are harmless, then theres nothing to watch out for.

    sometimes it deletes them based on the folder name, thinking it's a spyware folder
