    Well, after a week of fumbling around as a techno novice, loads of research....... i finally found my way around the effing notorious Home Search Ass-istent.........and all thanks to Major Geeks. The instructions for removal on this site are fairly straightforward and work, but it did take me two attempts. Follow Major Geeks instructions, but make sure that you are disconnected from the internet and that you run spyware doctor to identify all of the sh.. HSremove does the job....in safe mode, believe me and it is worth a contribution to the very clever and special techy that produced it. Finally make sure that you contact as many of the sites that are supported by HSA and make them aware of your feelings. Additionally give some thought to the person(s) who wrote this despicable HiJack and if they are ever identified, send me there contact details.........thx.

    Glad you got it. We have become very tired trying to help people and would like to kill the bastards who created it. It seems as low to me as robbing old ladies and children.

    I seriously think someone will someday.. The spam king is in magazines every here and there, but hes one guy, and spam is easily deleted, although a pain, but to hijack and render someones computer inoperative... someones going to snap.
