    Hello all,

One of our laptops is suddenly not connecting to the wireless network. The wireless icon indicates that it *is* connected, but every internet page comes back with the message "this webpage is not available." More information: "Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unkown error."

It is a Toshiba Satellite L505-D-S5983, running windows 7 home premium bit.

I use AVG, ran a scan and a trojan horse was found: Trojan horse Generic20.TFE.

Some malware was recently detected automatically: Win32/Kryptik.IMC

The internet outage began AFTER the malware was detected but before the trojan horse was detected.

Curiously, AVG is letting me update. Most other programs claim they can't access the internet.

I have a feeling this is some nasty malware which has hijacked AVG, but any help/advice is appreciated.

    Greetings, kel789.

I strongly suggest you go through the Malware Forum's Read & Run Me First thread, perform all of the suggested steps, and attach the requested logs to a new thread in that forum.
