IM thinking of picking up a hand held device such as a PDA or Cell phone hybrid... Im looking at several different brands but Im not sure If I need WiFi.

Im looking to connect to the internet in my home with an existing Wireless connection 802.11g

I have broadband/cable modem With a Wirleless router sending the signal to 2 other computers...

Now My question is, Will I be able to connect with a PDA to use the interent in my home with Wifi in the PDA? Or do I need to get an access point just for the WiFi PDA, Im a lil unclear in this area...

    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

If the PDA specs say that there is "built in 802.11 b/g wireless networking" (maybe not worded exactly like that...but I'm sure you catch my drift...then that means you should be able to connect to a 802.11 b/g router that you supposedly have in your home!!

However...unless you are talking about for using it at hotspots (Starbucks, Panera Bread, etc) then I've got to ask you why you want that for using it at home???? If you have a desktop...then it comes with a firewire and software for syncing it with your home pc!! And if you are just looking for mobility around the house...you can pick up a decent laptop for just a couple bucks more than a top end PDA!!!!!

Just wanted to point that out...I'll quit meddling in your business now!!! LOL

Don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions!!
