I am doing an IT course and have a networking question I cannot answer. I have tried google with little success. The Question is: "Describe the major difference between a 10/100 and a 54mHz network?"
Hopefully someone here may be able to steer me in the right direction.

Google 54mhz and that should give a general idea what the difference is between the two.

    10/100 = Lan cable (Cat5)
54mhz = Wireless depends on the situation. Could also be digital cable.

You sure it was 54mhz? Sounds like a different speed, should be 54mb, and as said, 10/100mb/s is faster and always stays at that speed as it's a direct cable whereas 54mb wireless is nearly half the speed and can vary in amounts, so I'm on 54g but only connected at 24mb/s at the mo.
