Hook two laptops up wirelessly

    Hey guys I have a question.My friend has a wireless laptop (Toshiba intergrated wireless). And I have a Dell with a linksys PCMIA card. I was wondering f there was a program out there or if there is a way to hook both of our laptops up so we can chat?
    Is this possible is this is can you please right out a step by step toutorial.

    You can place both NICs in ad-hoc mode. This is like a wireless crossover cable. Place both computers in the same workgroup, then look in both network cards user manual for instructions on how to place the NICs in ad-hoc mode.

    IS there a program out there were u can send messages?

    Alright I got AdHoc mode working and I can play games against the other computers but now what about a program where you can message the other computers. Net Send isn't a good program to use. Is there anything easier.
