    Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop. And some time ago my monitor began to get a thin horizontal line right through the center. The interesting thing about it is if i push on the right spot on the back of the monitor the line will go away either shortly or sometimes until i close the screen or shut the computer down.

I have read previous threads, and I'm just looking to see if anyone has a fix for it or if i should just go ahead and replace the whole monitor.

    Thanks,

    Aaron

It sounds like the laptop screen is bad. Don't know if you are going to find a fix.

    Update:

I've decided the only fix will probably be replacement.

I contacted Dell and found to my surprise that this laptop is still under warranty.

Sending it in to get it fixed.

    Thanks for the reply.
