Hot CPU Tester Pro

OK..I am really dumb, downloaded the CPU tester......trying to speed up my computer........miles from a computer expert.......and I am old and DUMB.....it asked for my registered name and SERIAL number......what serial number,and where do I find it?? I am embarrased to ask, but I need to know.

 

CPU Tester Pro is a shareware program, meaning they let you try it before you buy it for a certain amount of time ranging from 1 week to 30 days. "Usually" when you get a dialog box right after installing it you have the option to skip entering the information by clicking skip, later, etc. so you can do a trial run of the program. If you have exceeded the trial period you need to purchase the program in order to continue using it.

NOPE...........just downloaded it, and won't open til I fill in registeration info..I clicked cancel, but that only opened up the registeration form again..........My computer has a mind of it's own, think alot of my problem is the new Norton Anti-Virus 2005...hasn't been the same since I installed that a couple of months ago.....I have a Compac (Radio Shack) and Windows ME..Really appreciate your response tho.........

If it's giving you a hard time just delete the damn thing and download Everest Home edition instead - which is free. Available here at MG far as I know. As a fellow ancient and owner of a BC, life is too short to fiddle with things that will not work the way you want. As to Norton 2005 - I gave it away in a previous iteration ages ago and use instead a free firewall and antivirus. I found Norton both invasive and a serious user of computer memory.
