'Hot' rated Hotfix Backup File Remover

    ...running XP SP2 with no security or functionality issues. Just extracted this remover from downloaded zip. I have a fair number of hotfixes in my system. Can I safely go ahead and let this utility remove backup files etc from all the listed hotfixes and security updates? Any chance of ill effects afterward? Again, my pc is tuned and tweaked real good right now. Thanks.
