I have Palm Desktop by ACCESS running on my PC and a Palm T|X handheld device. I was able to do a "hot synch" when I was using Windows XP but have recently upgraded to Windows7. Now, when I try to do a hot synch, I get a message that the device is "not able to connect with the desktop". I have tried different USB ports and different cables but get the same message.

Is there a way to get this to work?

To do palm sync with windows 7 64 bit, you have to use bluetooth, they never wrote drivers for the usb cable, im not sure about 32 bit, but i believe its the same, blue a cheap bluetooth adapter, and sync over bluetooth.

I too have a T|X with Windows 7 64-bit. The problem is, Palm OS was sold (so was Palm but that's not the issue) and the new developers did not develop the necessary Win7 64-bit drivers. So you have to use wifi to Bluetooth - or enable XP Mode in Win7 (depending on which version of Win7 you have), and XP mode has its set of hassles.

BUT - a 3rd party has come up with a driver that works with USB - for most users. See here.
