My hotmail started acting strange; first I can't copy and paste anything. Second, when I go to insert a word or sentence into a message I'm composing it removes existing text and takes its place. Is this just a setting issue?

Hotmail is just an online service. So I don't quite follow this suggestion about settings.

Or is it Windows Live Mail with a Hotmail account you have? Or some other desktop email client/program?

Oh yes, that makes sense, MarkTrent. Just click the key marked Ins or Insert on your keybord. Just click once. That should do it, jonce777.

Thanks, the 'insert' did get rid of the typeover problem. But I still can't copy and paste, why? I could before.

    I have Windows live Hotmail.
