Hotmail keeps crashing

    Is anybody else having problems with hotmail? It started on Monday, I tried accessing my hotmail at work, entered my password on the sign in page and it just gives me a white screen. At home I can get onto hotmail but it is effectively unusable due to how slow it is. It locks my computer up too and causes the windows has encountered an error and must close problem, so I have to open a new browser for it.

    Hi

    I know Hotmail is going through a new update of late but it should not affect the running of it, as I am having no issues at present with Hotmail/Live in either online or client email versions (client I mean Windows Live Mail).

    What Windows versions are being used on the two PC systems you are using?

    Have you cleaned out temps and cookies? if not use CCLeaner to do this and downlaod is HERE (have browser closed when you run the cleaner).

    Also and its only a workaround add your Hotmail account to Windows Live Mail client and see if it works ok.

    Check that you have latest Adobe Flash and Sun Java installed.

    Try Internet Explorer in its no addons mode (found in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools) and does it do the same, if not then you have a 3rd party addon causing this.


    Whats your general location as Hotmail could possibly be down in your country location?

    Home- XP Pro
    Work- XP (not sure of any further details)

    Both on the same day started to crash. My mother's hotmail also crashes the same.

    Have you cleaned out temps and cookies? I have my firefox set to not remember cookies so that will all be clear

    I have all these as youtube works fine and would be notifying me to update.

    I am in United Kingdom Manchester. Never had a fault with hotmail since I signed up 2003
