hotmail sign in issues

first off,i love this site,as my nic suggests,im not too bright on the pc "tech wise". I have this person or persons,flooding my email password,and msn says i cant log in too many attemps,even tho i use the correct password,what if anything can i do? msn is no help,thanks

Explain a bit clearly what you mean by this?

Have you tried to reset your password to your MSN passport?

Have you checked for any Virii/Malware on your PC?

this is what it says,and yes i have reset my password,he has even told me in a chat room,he would let me sign in,then i could. I dont know what he is doing to keep me from logging in,thanks for your question.

So is this person who is holding your password actually known to you? plus did they have physical access to your PC?

If he let you sign in then did you not change your password and secret question?

have you checked for keyloggers/malware on your PC?

I guess i should explain the story in full,sorry. I Play on msn gaming zone,you can im each other,he saw my email address ,and some how,he is flooding it,he doesnt have my password but,msn gives that answer when i try to log in with the correct pw..msn has sent me an email,asking me to change the password,i did,this is not the problem of having the correct pw,its what it showed the msn said.Is there a way someone can hack my pc by me answering an im on the zone? thanks

Gotcha.... he's constantly trying to access your account by typing the wrong password ( only need to enter wrong PW 5 times IIRC ) in thus locking your account up, until you change the password, in which he still does the same and you've ended up in a vicious circle?

guess your only route is to report this to MSN as abuse ( and if you have his email address the better ) http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/dasp/ua_info.asp or if his email address is a specific ISPs then report him to that ISP.

or sadly get another hotmail address as I think this sad person will keep doing this to pee you off.

No to your question on hacking, I doubt that has happened, if they had physical contact with your PC they could have installed a keylogger or similar but this has not happened.

thank you halo,and you are correct,but i dont have is email nor ip,its just a pain.seems to me if you type in the correct pw,you should get in.......hmmmmmm.msn
