How can I find out what version I am running?

I know it sounds a silly question but I am trying to find out what version I am running of internet explorer. I have the icon on my pc and when I right click on the icon and look in properties it does not show me. Can someone let me know.

I am trying to find out as I need to register with the congestion charge website to pay on line, when I click on the newusers section the page just refreshes and will not let me in.

Are you sure? I have IE version 6.0.2900.2180. I don't mean to be confrontational, I just want to make sure we're on the same page.

 

yep i think you have the right version SWario because i have only XP Pro SP1a
SP2 is version 6.0.2900.2180
