    Hi

I'd like someone who really knows PC Hardware to have a look at this and let me know what my problem is.

I have recently bought a new PC with much better specs than my old PC, or so I'm told by the PC shop.

When I run any games, such as Railworks, Flight Simulator or MS Train Simulator on my new PC I get much lower FPS than on my old, lower spec'd PC with both running the same ingame settings.

The tests were done offline with almost nothing running in the background.

The PC Specs are below, can someone please have a look and advise me what the problem is?

    Thanks and regards

    Daniel

Current games is all about the graphics card. I'd highly recommend a better card, than a geforce 520. What is your budget and either I or someone else could help.

The GT220 and 520 are very similar in performance, the i5 is a lot better than the Q8300; is your new monitor a much higher resolution than the older 1360x768?

    Hi

thanks for your reply, I did not get an email to let me know replies had been posted.

My monitors are both running at default Resolution and refresh rate, which I am guessing is the best way.

The thing is, I have since found out that if I load a really taxing game my new PC will not even run it and the PC crashes, but the old PC handles it reasonably.

One thing that puzzles me is why does the new PC graphics card report as
    RAM: -2147483648 bytes (-2048MB)

Note the negative numbers, any ideas, I think that is a clue.

    Thanks

    Daniel
