How Can I Play Facebook Videos On Desktop?

How can i play facebook videos on desktop?

With youtube i can copy and paste the url in the media player (potplayer,vlc) and it will play.

But i can't do that with facebook videos.

Is there any media player that does?

But no media player can play FB video, like i can do it with youtube (copy and pasting the url onto the player)?

 

Windows 7. I think i have to more clear.

I know how to download videos and play them on the media player.

I am talking about the ability of directly streaming the video on the player. Like get the youtube url and play it in potplayer,vlc.

Without the need to download it on the hard drive and then play it.

I can do it with youtube but not with facebook on potplayer,vlc

Can any media player directly stream facebook/play videos like a browser ? like i can do it with youtube.
