how can i put a security password on folders such as pics, music and personal docs?

    does anyone know how i can secure my documents without logging off my user name. Thanks

    oh yeah sorry, im on xp home edition, im gonna get pro from school cuz its like 5 dollars. Im just tired of my roommate looking at my stuff when im not around but i dont want slow down my computer by running two users.

    you won't slow the system down by having two users.. this is what NT is all about..
    My suggestion, as would be from any other member here, would be to add another user to the system and change YOUR Password. Logging in takes literally the time it takes to type your password. Trust me,it's the easiest and best solution.
