    Whats up guys,

I wanna remove the password authorization from XP. I know the password, but I just don't want to be prompted for it everytime I start up. I want the pc to go straight into windows Xp. Please help.

go to start>control panel>user accounts. In the new window choose you account (I suppose it's only one, otherwise you can't bypass the pasword prompt). Don't know how exactly it is in the English XP  but there should be something like "remove security password". Click it, type the pasword and it's done :)

I had to click on password change and type in the current password but leave the space box's for a new password blank. It seems to have solved it. Thank you for help Sailor.

another way to do this, is the following:

Click START, then RUN, then type in: control userpasswords2 (press enter).

Select the user you wish to logon with, then uncheck the box "users must enter...blah..blah". Press OK.
Type in the password 2 times, then press ok. Reboot.

This info is just an alternative. And works with multiple accounts on one machine. :)

Even works with Windows Vista. :)
