how can i save to hard drive?

i found a site with some streaming vids i need but i want em with sound and there is no sound in the comp lab i was wondering how to save streaming vids to the harddrive...i know i could use fraps but that wont give me the sound

 

noone knows?

I right click the file and select "save target as", name as I wish, select a location and select "save".

 

nah i mean like from ifilms and crap that it doesnt give u that option

 

Your watching videos off of the internet. right? So the operating system saves the videos to your hard drive any way. Depending on the operating system the video should be complete without any compression on your hard drive. If you are using windows 2000/XP and possibly ME you can go to "C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files". You can basicly copy this and paste the line in your address bar in windows explorer, except change the C: in the line to your bootdrive or operating system dirve. Also you will want to change "\Username" to your user name and don't include the qoutes. Sometimes the user name is different than the folder name under "C:\Documents and Settings" so you might have look under that directory first or open task manager. Select the User tab and use that name.

In Windows 95,98 this won't work becasue it doesn't save the file. but I think saves somesort of link to the files that you see on the internet.(ex. pictures in web pages.)
