How can I see windows firewall in quick launch bar?

hello everyone..

I sometimes back was able to see the windows firewall(the one provided in windows servicepack2) icon in the quick launch bar.. but it disappeared and now I am unable to see it.. I can see it in control panel though..

and also how many times I set the windows TIME and it changes itself again and again?? .. can anyone please tell me how to fix these problems..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your computer isn't keeping accurate time, the most likely cause is a dying motherboard battery.

They are cheap and easy to change (usually button cell CR2032).


For the Firewall, double-click Security Center in Control Panel, then Windows Firewall and make sure it's turned on.

I don't know about the quick launch bar, but you should be able to see a green shield (red if the firewall's off) in the System Tray, on the bottom right.
Clicking on that should bring up firewall settings etc.

 

Just to try it, I simply did a drag-n-drop from the control panel to the quicklaunch and it was successful.
