How Can I Turn Off Onedrive?

Windows 10 has possessed my drive. I have an Andorid and have photos saved, I do not need them saved twice.

It looks like if I delete from the OneDrive cloud, it removed the file from my system. I do not need large video files uploaded to OneDrive. It clogs my upload bandwidth and is a waste.

Can someone offer how to rid this cancer from my system. Can I drag and drop the files into regular files such as /user/Documents and not inside /OneDrive/Documents.

So Drag and Drop is the way to save them from what I read.

I like the new fast box I bought in February except for this.
