I wish to be able to see deleted data that has yet to be written over. How would I go about doing that?

Just be careful. If the data you are trying to retrieve is on your "C" drive, for example, and you install a data recovery program ALSO on your "C" drive, you will possibly / probably OVERWRITE some of the data your are trying to retrieve.

Try and get a version of data retrieval software that you can install on a USB memory stick, or another partition, or drive, on your PC. Bazza

PS: Check out http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads38.html for lots of data recovery programs. Baz

That's a good point, Bazza. Didn't think of that.

Great point, and a good warning.

This feature is already available in all applications. Just change location during installation, when you're given the choice to.

Not everyone has 2 partitions, or 2 hard drives, hence the suggestion to use a USB stick if they have one. ;) Bazza
