Have you looked through the event viewer for any errors or warnings that mention the same files? I've done a little research and the problem may be related to ActiveX components... OR.... it may be Java related since Yahoo games are mostly Java based. Try uninstalling ALL your Java runtimes and updates from Add/Remove Programs (I've seen over 6 individual entries on some PCs, with each one over 130mb). Then reboot, maybe run CCleaners reg cleaner to get rid of any leftovers, then visit www.java.com and download/install the newest runtime and update....

    Reinstall Java.

What is your justification for such an action? Because its on pogo.com and yahoo?

Sysfader is part of Windows, it controls certain visual effects in XP. It is not related to java, nor is it part of java.

I too, am curious as to what the version of IE is.

Its justfied because I just did it on my own machine for the exact same problem and it fixed it. Use that advice at your own risk. I don't know about anyone elses suggestions. If it didn't work for me, I wouldn't have suggested it. If you need chat or any animations to play on your machine, a fresh loading of JAVA might help. In my case it was what I needed. Your results might vary. If it doesnt work, back out of the install. No responsibility for your results are expressed or implied. sheesh

It did this to me on IE 6 and 7. I upgraded to 7 to see if would fix it to no avail. When one goes to a web page for the visual effects in chat or some web pages, JAVA is a big part of that at least in what I was attempting to access, which is now running just wonderfully. oh, the XP is SP2 also. :major

I've also come across this to stop sysfader errors in IE:
    1. Click on Tools, Internet Options and the Advanced tab
    2. Scroll down to the section titled "browsing" and remove the checkmark/tick from "Enable third-party browser extensions".

I've also seen this, but this is more of a work-a-round then a fix. ;)

Still waiting on the Original Poster to report back. :)
