    JFK Game

This is a horrible idea! It is so DISRESPECTFULL! Why would someone want to mock one of the greatest presidents this country has ever had.

It seems to have become a tradition to mock presidents, both great and small, especially when one disagrees with him. I didn't see any sense of contempt, though it is a bit morbid.

With all the political hate spreading, is it any surprise? Teach people to disrespect the living and they'll trample the memories of the dead.

There is nothing wrong with mocking politicians. They put themselves out there. This isn,t mocking, it's the dark side of capitalism. Take away JFK and install average joe. Now all you've got is a video game that many of you already play. Put JFK back in the car, bask in the media attention, and sell a whole bunch more games. Pure disrespect. Anything to make a buck, and who cares who gets hurt! It's up to the consumers whether it's a successful campaign or not.

Why are you pretty sure he cries over civil war re-enactments?

I should have been more specific.

No, I still don't get it. Unless you mean Lincoln's assassination. But that's too much of a stretch, really.

Does anyone think that electing GWB (for a second term!) is more of an insult to JFK's memory than some silly game?
if there is an afterlife then I'm sure JFK's ghost has more to worry about than some silly game.

    Nailing:
Naw: it's more like a violent **** (in my opinion) -others may disagree...um in fact I would bet that 49% of americans disagree.

Some people are taking this way too seriously. The purpose of the 'game' is to cast doubt on the Warren Commission's conclusions by simulating the situation and demonstrating that Oswalt's shot couldn't be made under the conditions that day in Dealy. An asassination game featuring a living person, like Bush or Kerry, for example, would be in bad taste.

Then why is it that Day of Defeat, Call of Duty, and Combat Vietnam are any 'less' disgusting? People died there too.... just because they weren't President, they don't matter?
It is freedom they gave us, freedom to download that game or not... who cares if the game is made or not.. maybe we need to worry about who plays them???

How can democratically electing a President insult the memory of a former President?

    It doesn't, of course.

I admire your attempts Mr. Pewty, but it appears to be hopeless.

We no longer show respect for anything or anyone in this country. We react with glee when someone with position, integrity, or sense of duty falls from grace. It is now "cool" to be hateful, to mock intellect, to insult the dead and threaten and hound the living.

Welcome to the new American way of life.

Not just American. All Western liberal democracies are the same. It appears there is a toll that comes with freedom.

Freedom is like air. People don't give it much thought until they are forced to do without it.
