How do I alter or change a pdf file ?

I am a teacher. Many documents I use to teach math and grammar are in pdf form. Is there a way I can alter or separate the pages from a file.

Hi

As far as I know, not unless you pay for the full adobe acrobat program. Most people only have Adobe reader so their computers can read the file. You do not have the option to change the file in any way with that.

Hi

As far as I can remember and this is going back a few years, PDF995 which is free (just displays a advert message in the software) will with the main app here and the edit option here allow you to edit PDFs

Worth a try as its free, however if the PDF has been secured fro editing at source then your out of luck.

To split a PDF document into multiple documents, you might try this: http://www.a-pdf.com/split/index.htm. It's not free but you can try it for free trial period.
