How do i burn dvds

    I just got a dvd burner but i dont know how to start the dvd burn i can only burn music using windows media player any help plz?

    There's probably burning software shipped with your burner, make sure to check all included CD's.

    If you want to burn copyright material eg. movies we cant help due to the rules of the board,I second Nero I think ist an awsome tool and well worth the money it can do everything:)

    If you're gonna pay for it, Nero is the way to go.

    I paid £30\$50 for a lite on burner that came with a full copy of Nero 6 retail,thats $10 cheaper than buying Nero Alone :)

    I got nero with mine too, but since red442 bought his burner on ebay and the previous owner decided to keep the cd's (if any, that is)...

    thanks for all the help. ive burned one but when i try to watch it on a dvd player it does not work why would this happen?

    How did you burn it? Simply dragging some video files on it will not work.

    when i use the dvd with my holiday footage it says unknown disk but i burned a music video on a diffrant disk and that works

    well need program that well convert like avi or wma to mpeg or mpeg2

    google video converter

    best one i have used is Blaze Media Pro but it's 30 days to use

    your right about the music viedo. so i dl Blaze Media Pro to convert them into mpeg i opend the video converter added the video i want to convert set the folder i want it to go into clicked convert but it keeps saying a error occurred why?

    First your need to find out what your holiday footage is saved as,put the disk in the drive with the footage on explore the disk right click the video files properties and post what kind of file the video is saved on the disk as
