How do I change my Knoppix wallpaper?

I give up. I've tried Googling it, and can't find what I need. I've tried mounting the iso with Virtual Clone Drive, copying all the files to a folder on my desktop, going in and replacing the background.jpg image with the one I want (same filename, same filetype, same image size/resolution), and then I can't figure out how to get the files in that folder back to a bootable iso format.

Anybody know an easy solution? It can't be this difficult.

Hmm, nope. I don't think that's it either. :confused

I'm not trying to install it. I'm trying to change the wallpaper within the iso itself. That way when I burn it to disc and boot the live cd, the background image I've chosen automatically loads up instead of the default background image that's built in to Knoppix. I know what file needs to be changed, I just can't figure out how to repack the files from the disk image back into a bootable iso format once I've pulled them out of the disk image and edited the file I need (if there's nothing I need to do additionally to make this work, which it doesn't seem like there would be if I use the same filename, filetype, and image size/resolution).

If you have the ISO file, with the changes. Just use your disk burner, and burn the image.
    It's simple as that.

If your using GOME, just use the CD DVD Creator, if your using Windows ImgBurn would be about the best.

I guess I'm missing something then. I have ImgBurn and that's what I'm trying to rebuild the .iso with, but I can't figure out what to do once I pull all the old files out of the original so I can edit them. I know I probably need to select "create image file from files/folders" but after that I have no clue. I wish there was something that I could just mount the iso with and edit it directly so wouldn't have to mess with all this. Seems like far too much hassle to do what I'm trying to do. There's got to be an easier way out there.
