How do I change the default Personal Folder File in Outlook 2003?

How do I change the default Personal Folder File in Outlook 2003?

I selected detect and repair on out look 2003 and it came up asking for the Personal Folder File .. I could not find it so I put a new one in. Well when select open / data file I can see the file with all my email and cal lenders AND I can select it but but then it is NOT the default Personal Folder. It's name is Outlook.pst and the new one is Outlook1.pst but when I search to find it as outlook.* it can not be found??

All I want is to set outlook to the default personal Folder ( Outlook.pst ) and I don't know how or where to go in help to find out!

Select 'Data File Management' from the 'File' menu. Can't recall ALL the steps, but it should be fairly straightforward. Follow the wizard. You just have to point it to the right .PST file. You likely can't find it because it is in a hidden file, but the GUI should default to the right location.
