how do i change

my mom bought my pc so her name is registered into windows.and everytime i open my documents or my computer her name is in it . like

C:\Documents and Settings\Shirin\My Documents\My Stuff

her name is shirin.anyway to change it into my name

 

go to start, setting, control panel. Go into User Accounts.
Go into "Change Account"

choose "Change Name"

 

it doesnt work still remains the same

I don' t know if you noticed but some people have been asking for more information when you post a question. The information they want is usually:

-the people here really can help with lots of problems but they can only be effective if you give them all the important info.
If you are unsure as to your PC information might I suggest http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=181 -it'll give you more info than you'll likely ever need while posting here. The other option is to right-click on your 'My Computer' icon, and select 'Properties', and noting what it says under 'System:' and 'Computer:'
I think you'll find way more responses (and more helpful responses) if you post your PC details/information each time.
