How do I install an SD memory slot?

I've been searching Google for the past half hour and can't find any information on installing an slot for SD cards. I just get information on how to put the SD card in my computer, not the slot.

Do I have the wrong term for the slot? I was searching for "install SD memory slot" and 17 variations of that.

You can buy and install a card reader-writer for around $20.00 Dollars in the Floppy bay, you just need a USB header in your motherboard.

 

or an alternative way (if you are nervous about opening your pc up and adding hardware) would be a usb card reader, you can pick one up for under 20 squid here in the uk
