I have a new computer with windows 7 and my printer (which is an all in one) won't work on this computer...I'm not going out and buying another one...the printer is hooked up to the old computer which is running windows xp...everything is wireless...we are all on our own network ( I guess) and I can't figure out how to link the printer to this new computer and my hubby's new laptop...Can anyone help me please?

Check to see if your printer supports Windows 7, via this link.

If you are in a network, you should be able to map the drive to the printer.

I think what I'm trying to say and do here is link this printer to all the new ones...via our router...windows 7 does not support this printer and i'm not about to go out and by a new one either...can I link it thru the router...this is the network thing i'm talking about...I hope I'm explaining this right...

If Lexmark said they don't have a driver for your printer for Windows 7, then, clearly, there's no driver for it. Still, I think I'd search Lexmark's website, just in case the techs you talked to did not know what they're doing.

I believe you're asking whether you can share the printer via Windows XP even if drivers are not available for Win 7. I believe the answer is no; you still need a driver for Win 7.

As a workaround, you could enable file sharing, if not already enabled, so that you could access files on the new computers from the Win XP computer and then execute printing from it. However, this would require having the software installed on the XP system that is needed to open a particular file and execute the print command. An example would be where the old computer and the new ones all have Microsoft Office installed. Assuming the versions of Office are compatible, the XP computer could open, say, Word files on either of the new computers and print them.

Edit: I just found this via Google: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/PRINTER/LEXMARK/LEXMARK-Printer-X125-Version-10012.shtml
