I have just downloaded something from the Internet which came in a .rar package which I extracted to the desktop... I have now realised that the files which were in the .rar package are .bin & .cue files... Please could somebody tell me how to open these files, I would appreciate it, thanks.

BIN & CUE files are made by certain burner programs (most notably, CDRWIN) when they rip data from a CD. Most newer burner programs (Nero, Fireburner) can convert & burn the data back to CD from BIN & CUE files. ISObuster can also extract the data. Here's a link with some details:

You can use Daemon tools or Alcohol 120%
Nice applications which create a virtual CD-ROM on your PC which will allow you to "mount" the .bin file directly therefore no need to burn to CD, or, you can use nero burning rom to mount the image to a disk, alot like an iso. I'd reccomend daemon tools.

*edit* lol, didn't see wave's post, he said it all.
