How do I play an ISO file ?

Hi,

(1) I have an ISO file that I would like to play without burning it to a DVD. Is there a way to play it right from my HDD ? If yes, do I need any software to do it ?

(2) Also I have a "Multimedia Tutorial" folder that has an exe which when I click asks me to install that program on my hard drive. Is there a way to play that Tutorial without actually installing it on my hard drive ?

If you don't want to burn it, you can use a program like Alcohol 52% or Daemon Tools or Magic Disc to create a virtual drive. You'd then 'mount' the image to the virtual drive and play it from there. You can also use an archiver like TUGZip (or another one that handles ISO images; some do, most don't) and you can 'unzip' or extract the ISO to it's own separate folder and display it's contents. EDIT- I forgot about question 2.... install TUGzip. Then right click the .exe file. If you see an upward-pointing green arrow and it says something like "Extract to folder", then use that option. It will create a new folder with the extracted contents of the .exe file.
