How do I reinstall Internet Explorer?

    I'm using OS Windows XP, and after installing some spyware, I have no icons on my desk top, no start menu, and IE won't run if I pull it up through task manager either. I posted about this here 1/2 to an hour ago and my post seems to have dissappeared. What's going on?

    No desktop usually means explorer isn't kicking in.You installed some spyware?Do you mean you deleted,uninstalled or quarantined spyware.If so,which software did you use and does it have a backup or quarantine.

    If you suspect Spyware, I strongly suggest you pay a visit to the SPYWARE FORUM and follow the recommendations in the stickies.

    lorrain1902, I deleted your other thread about this in the software forum yesterday because you already had a thread about this in the spyware forum where chaslang is trying to help you. Please do not cross post (start threads in more than one forum for the same issue). This just creates confusion for you and those that are trying to help.
