How Do I Remove These!!!!

Hi, I uninstalled AOL...The Mcafee Firewall that came with it came out too...but some stuff is left over in my Device Manager where my Network Adapters are....they are disabled, but I can't delete them....They are called
..Mcafee Firewall Network Filter Miniport #2
..Mcafee Firewall Network Filter Miniport #3
..WAN Miniport [IP]
..Wan Miniport [IPX]
Does anyone know what these are, and are they keeping me from accessing some secure sights...I have Windows 2000Pro...Explorer (that can't access AOL for my mail at all)...Firefox 1.0.7 (that can access AOL mail login sometimes).....are these left over miniport things taking my connections hostage somehow....I have also switched from phone modem to cable LAN on a network of PCs that are stealthed behind a firewall...my firewall had to come out for that reason....can anyone help....would posting a HJT log be appropriate?

I did find a windows 2000 version of the website but my work server wouldnt allow it so i couldnt check it

 

Hi Funkymonkey...I found the 2000 version, and it really scares me to go into the registry and do this....so far the filters have stopped affecting the browsers. I think i will leave them alone until I work the courage up to engage them...they are disabled...what do you think
