How do i retrive my XP key?

I am doing a format and i need to retrieve my XP home key off my computer. What software is there that i can use to view it?

Look on the left and click on Licenses.

 

There are actually MANY programs that will tell you the License Key for Windows. The Magic Jelly Bean is probably the most famous.

Just FYI, almost all OEM computers will have the License sticker somewhere on the outside of the computer.
