how do i stop autocomplete

how do i stop autocomplete from popping up . i have unticked all the options clicked ok deleted the history. every time a search on the web it pops up it is really p^&*ng me off now

also just a thought would this have anything to do with windows balloons , like a balloon popping up showing that you are connected and the speed etc. is there a way to turn these balloon popups off so that i can test it.

Is this what you are unticking?

Tools, Internet Options , then choose the Content tab and select the " AutoComplete " button. This will bring up a control panel where you can turn AutoComplete on or off for web addresses, forms, or passwords.

yes i done all the above but it still pops up grrrrrr!!
