    hello i hope someone can help. how do i delete old windows copies from my hard drive after i reinstall windows? i have files under my local disk (C) labeled windows.old and i would like to delete it and free up that space on the drive. TYIA

    Right click on the windows.old directory, hold the shift key down, and click delete.

    thank you for the reply. but i don't think it's that easy. i think you need to tap one of the F keys while rebooting?
