someone gave me 2 p2 processor's and a p2 style celeron but i don't see anything on them that says there speed. for those who don't know this the p2 processors where little boards and not just a chip so its harder for me to find out its speed.

If they are a slot 1, you may be able to remove the plastic shroud and it should say it.

Otherwise, just Google any writing on it for details.

ok well on one of them it says "400/512/100/2.0V S1" i searched for that on google and all i got said it was a 400mhz or 433mhz. but when i put it in a pc it was showing up at 233mhz. one the celeron i cant find nothing on it its also a slot1 and the other p2 is a 300mhz. you think because of it being the same slot the board i got will run that celeron?

"400/512/100/2.0V S1" 400 MHz 512L2 Cache 100MHz FSB 2.0 V core.... its running the wrong FSB ( but 233 /4 = ~58 so its a bit weard ) Slot 1 chips are very very X locked.. Id dig around for FSB settings... does the mobo support a 100 FSB ??
