How do you make a java program be a .exe file

    how do you turn a java in to a .exe file i have the ide bluej so how can i turn it into a prog to send to other people so they can click it and run it?

    they can run a .JS file if they have JAVA on their machine

    Actually, the extension is .class, and you run it using the JVM, which is java.exe, which the user needs to have installed to run your program. There are JVM installers available to include with your program. JVMs are available for different platforms, so you can run the same .class file on Windows, Macintosh, Solaris, Linux... Once you have a .exe, it can only run in Windows, so there is not much desire to make a .class file into a .exe.
