how do you tell if a samsung laptop charger is Genuine vs OEM

hi everyone,

I have samsung series 3 laptop. I went to buy a laptop charger from an electronic shop, they told me they have both OEM and genuine . I am a bit concerned if using OEM will void my warranty.

how do you tell if a samsung laptop charger is Genuine vs OEM

I don't know what the electronics shop means by "OEM or Genuine". OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer and it would be genuine and wouldn't void your warranty.

 

I doubt using an aftermarket charger specifically designed for your PC would void the warranty. I sell about 10 aftermarket (not "genuine") chargers at my shop each month and have never had an issue.
