At present I have 512mb of RAM and want to upgrade to 1gb so am thinking of getting 2 sticks of the RAM shown above ^^

I'm a bit confused. This is the fourth thread you've started asking about the same RAM upgrade, and in this instance, you haven't even provided the RAM's pricing or your computer's specifications for anyone to even start to give you an informed recommendation. I would suggest taking the info you previously gleaned from using the crucial.com analysis tool and memory upgrade advisor, as I and others suggested to you before in the other threads, make a note of the types of RAM applicable to your specific machine and go from there. Stick with major brands like Crucial (Micron), Corsair, Kingston, PNY from a reputable vendor and you shouldn't have a problem.
