How far can I overclock a Duron?

I have a 1.8GHz Duron,and was wondering how far I can overclock it to? Here are the components.

AsRock K7V88 motherboard (Via chipset)
256MB pc2700 ram (I think is called Hynix)
350Watt power supply
9200ATI card
80Gig harddrive
NEC DVD burner
Windows xp

I guess thats it. I would like to get it up to at least 2.5GHz. Is that possible?

 

Every cpu is different and the system its in makes even more difference you just have to keep pushing it untill it becomes unstable then back off,the main factors are cooling,stable voltage and how far your motherboard and memory will go,unless you unlock the cpu u will have to increase the fsb and you wont get that high with ddr2700.

 

Alright I unlocked the multi. to make it a mobile and unlocked my votages on the chip. Now I wish I could figure out how to unlock the L2 cache on this chip? Here is my overclock so far.

may i ask what program u used to overclock it?

 

Sorry I haven't responded,I have been in the process of moving,and lost my internet till July..I didn't use any program except the bios for my overclocking,so it made it a bit harder to get a nice oc. I was very limited by the options in the bios on this board to oc with so I did some hardware modifications on the cpu itself. I was limited by the voltage on the asrock board only able to be pushed up 10%,which basically meant,I couldn't exceed 1.6Volts I did used a pencil on the L-11 and found it allowed up to 2.0V+ .....
